The decoration of the hotel was lovely, especially in the cozy bar/restaurant with its big windows and beautiful views. The general areas were well-maintained and had a warm and welcoming atmosphere. As a senior woman, I appreciated that the hotel was easily accessible with no stairs or steep paths to navigate.
I would have liked to see more assistance available for senior people, such as handrails or grab bars in the bathrooms and hallways. It would have been helpful if the children working there could have provided more information and guidance specifically for older guests.

The children's playground provided endless fun for our kids, and the various activities like cycling allowed us to explore the beautiful surroundings together. The cozy atmosphere of the cottage made us feel right at home, and the breathtaking view from the living room window was truly unforgettable.
For dads, it would be great if there were more outdoor games available for the kids.

We stayed at Garsnes Brygge Villa for a week as a stopover between Tromso and Narvik. The modern cottages on stilts offered stunning views of the fjord and mountains. The fully equipped kitchen and cozy seating areas made us feel right at home. We enjoyed swimming in the fjord, borrowing fishing equipment, and relaxing on the terrace overlooking the water. The bar/restaurant had big windows and beautiful flowers everywhere. The owner, Andreas, was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Good wifi and laundry facilities were also available.
Would recommend this hotel.

The hotel had a very charming and cozy atmosphere, with beautiful decorations that made me feel right at home. The common areas were easily accessible and well-maintained, perfect for senior people like me to relax and enjoy. I appreciated the effort put into making the hotel senior-friendly.
Only suggestion for improvement would be to have more handrails in the hallways and staircases for better stability. The children working there were very helpful, but it would provide an extra sense of security for us senior guests.
